Educational course on gardens upon reservation only (from 5 to 10):
The children will discover the 3 plants of the gardens (hornbeams, yews and boxes). They will learn about the pruning the repotting… 4 euros per child – 1 teacher free for 10 children.
Technical course on gardens (about lawns maintenance and pruning) upon reservation only : 9,50 euros per person.


BOTANICAL PATHS

Enjoy our two hikes independent of the gardens, both start at the viewpoint indicator, leading you to the discovery of the local vegetation and the surrounding valleys.


TREE NURSERY

Discover the tree nursery created in 2004 to grow yew trees, boxwood and some cypresses which, if necessary, will be used to replace various topiaries in the garden.


INTERACTIVE AUDIOGUIDES

Available in 4 languages (french, English, dutch and Spanish), a new guide with a touch-screen map of the gardens.

Easter Treasure Hunt
Easter weekend: Sunday 12th and Monday 13th April 2009
Open continuously from 10 am to 7 pm


Easter bells will ring in Eyrignac. Sidonie the hen has lost her treasure in the gardens. Thumper, the sweet but mischievous rabbit has hidden all her gold. Children who come to Eyrignac for the holiday can hunt for the treasure, with Sidonie's help, but they'll have to answer Thumper, the mischievous rabbit's riddles.
€9.50 for adults – free for children under 14 years old

5th annual Orchid Exhibition
Friday 1st, Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd May 2009: Exhibition and Sale in the Jardins du Manoir d'Eyrignac Orangerie.
Open continuously from 9:30 am to 7 pm


Exhibitors, national growers (Orchidées Vacherot, La Canopée, La Cour des Orchidées) and regional collectors (Mr. Bourdon) are back for another remarkable exotic orchid exhibition and sale.
Event programme: Exhibition/sale, workshops, discussions, botanical walks, themed meal.
Exhibition entrance fee: €2 for adults – free for children under 12 years old

Garden Rendezvous “Passionnément Eyrignac”
Friday 5th, Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th June 2009


During the weekend, the gardeners, the Head gardener and the owner will welcome you to make you discover the upkeep of a French Garden.

A summer evening...

Musical white picnic in the White Garden
Every Monday evening from 13th July to 17th August 2009.
From 7 pm to nightfall


Relax, far from the bustle of the crowd, and enjoy the cooling fountains at twilight: all summer long, visitors come with friends and family, dressed in white for a picnic in the white rose garden.
From sunset to nightfall, they nibble their picnic treats or enjoy a delicious slice of foie gras and a glass of wine in the restaurant. Live music every evening.
€9.50 for adults – free for children under 14 years old

For this year's Ministry of Culture-organised event, owner Patrick Sermadiras and his family open the doors to the 17th-century Manor, giving visitors an exceptional look at their garden home, which reflects the soul of Eyrignac.
